I began my artistic journey at a young age, studying art at various schools and institutions in Syria and Scotland. Today, I work as a multidisciplinary and participatory artist, practising across painting, printmaking, graphic design, installation, performance, and more. Alongside my practice, I teach art and work as a community engagement artist. My artistic pursuits span various mediums and art forms, often reflecting on themes of identity, displacement, and emotional resilience. I have collaborated with diverse institutions, organisations, and groups, with projects spanning Syria, Egypt, Europe, and the UK.
